welcome to wrightwood

I came to the world of winemaking from an unconventional background. After working in journalism and marketing, I turned my sights to wine and began spending weekends working at a small vineyard in Virginia. Eight harvests and a cross-country move later, I now call Napa home.

My goal is to create enjoyable, complex wines with minimal intervention. The current vineyard I farm is home to incredibly well-preserved Alicante Bouschet vines that are over 100 years old. I feel lucky to get to work with these unique grapes and I hope to showcase their character and place in history with this wine.
